As of the current date, during Phase 3 measures, the following protocols are in practice:
-
I am able to book and invoice for both Osteopathy and Naturopathic Medicine.
-
Telemedicine visits are an option for patients who do not require an in-person visit.
-
Payment by credit card or e-transfer is preferred.
-
A survey will be sent out 24 hours before your appointment to ensure you do not have any
symptoms or risk factors of COVID-19 prior to entering the office.
-
When possible, please arrive alone for your appointment. I will be keeping a log of
everyone who enters the office, for potential future contact tracing purposes.
-
As usual, when the sign is turned to OPEN, you are welcome to enter the space. Please
wait outside or in your car until then.
-
Please wear a cloth or disposable mask when entering the office. If you do not have a mask,
I can provide one for you.
-
Please wash your hands or use the hand sanitizer provided upon entering the space.
-
At the beginning of your appointment, I will screen both of us again for symptoms and
risk factors associated with COVID-19.
-
If either of us screens positive in the office, the appointment will be cancelled, and
instruction will be given to complete the online self-assessment tool -
https://covid-19.ontario.ca/self-assessment/
-
I will wash my hands immediately prior to and after treatment. If no physical medicine
is necessary, we will keep a distance of 2m during the appointment.
-
A minimum of 15 minutes will be scheduled between patients to ensure that the space
can be disinfected after each appointment.
-
After each visit, I will thoroughly disinfect anything used or touched by either of us
during the treatment using a ‘wipe twice’ method. High touch surfaces will be cleaned
a minimum of twice daily.
Please note that despite all of these extra precautions, the risk of acquiring COVID-19 cannot be
eliminated entirely. You must determine if the benefit of treatment outweighs the risk for you.
This is a fluid process. I look forward to your feedback as I continue to fine-tune my procedures.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!
